I welcome commission requests for custom paintings that capture a place meaningful to you. Whether it's a beloved landscape, a cherished view, or a location with special significance, I'd be honored to create a painting that brings that place into your home.

The Commission Process

1. Initial Consultation

We'll begin with a conversation about your vision. Share photos, memories, and details about the place you'd like me to paint. We'll discuss size, medium (watercolor or oil), and the mood or feeling you hope the painting will evoke.

2. Proposal & Pricing

Based on our conversation, I'll provide a detailed proposal including dimensions, medium, timeline, and pricing. Commission prices vary based on size and complexity. A 50% deposit is required to begin work.

3. Reference & Research

If possible, I prefer to visit the location in person to sketch and photograph. For distant locations, I'll work from your photographs and any reference materials you can provide.

4. Work in Progress

I'll share progress photos at key stages so you can see the painting develop. Minor adjustments can be made during this phase.

5. Completion & Delivery

Once the painting is complete and fully dry (oil paintings require several weeks of curing time), I'll arrange for careful packing and shipping or local pickup.

Pricing Guide

• Small works (up to 11×14"): Starting at $800
• Medium works (16×20" to 18×24"): Starting at $1,500
• Large works (24×30" and above): Starting at $2,500

Final pricing depends on complexity, medium, and any special requirements.
